Changes in the procedure of Internet-Bank login and signing of documents

03.03.2017

Starting from April 1st, the Bank introduces a new type of Internet-Bank authorization.

Dear Client!

Due to the requirements of the Financial and Capital Market Commission (Regulatory enactments No. 112), starting from the 1st of April 2017, the Identification Tables for authorization in the Internet-Bank will be replaced by a more reliable and modern way of authorization – the One-Time Security Code (hereinafter the Code).

The One-Time Security Code will be sent to the Client's pre-registered mobile phone number when entering the Internet-Bank and signing documents.

The changes will affect only the owners of the Identification Tables. The authorization method will not change for clients that use DigiPass.

Important changes from April 1st:

  • Clients that use the Identification Table will be able to access only the mobile phone number registration page.
  • After registering your mobile phone number in the Internet-Bank, it will be impossible to use the Identification Table.

How to start using the new authorization system:

  • When entering the Internet-Bank using the Identification Table, the Client will be redirected to the mobile phone number registration page.
  • To confirm registration, the Client will receive an SMS with the Code at the specified mobile phone number.
  • After successfully entering the Code, the Internet-Bank's services will be available to the Client in accordance with the Limits approved by the Bank.
  • The password that was previously used to enter the Internet-Bank via the Identification Table will stay valid for authorization with the One-Time Security Code.

Please also note that starting from the 1st of April 2017 the Internet-Bank will be accessible only in the new design at ib.lpb.lv

In case of any questions or uncertainties, please contact the specialists of the Bank by phone: +371 67772999 or by e-mail: vasb@yco.yi.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Yours faithfully,
